Smart Queues and Search in the Android app

How to view Smart Queues and search tasks on the GQueues mobile app

You can search your tasks and view any previously created Saved Searches or Smart Queues from your mobile app. Here's how view those results.

❗️Please Note: It isn't currently possible to create or edit a Smart Queues or Saved Search from the mobile app. But once created on the web, they can be viewed on mobile.

View Smart Queues

Choose Smart Queues from the left side menu to view your smart queues.

Choose Smart Queues from the left-hand panel.

Tap the smart queue you wish to view.

Choose the Smart Queue or Saved Search you wish to view.

You can choose how the tasks are grouped and sorted in this view.

You can get to your saved searches from the same panel as your Smart Queues.

❗️Please Note: A network connection is required to view a Saved Search Smart Queue.

View Saved Searches.

Search tasks

Tap the magnifying glass and enter a search term to find particular tasks.

Type your search terms in the bar at the top.

Enter your search criteria.

Search results from across your queues will show here.

View search results.

The following search syntax is supported:

  • AND, OR, NOT (must be capitalized)

  • Use an asterisk * for partial word search.

  • fieldName:searchTerm to limit searching only that field. Supported fields:

    • description

    • notes

    • tag

Group and sort

When viewing tags, Smart Queues, or searches, you can change how the information is grouped and sorted. These settings will be remembered the next time you open that particular smart queue or tag.

Group tasks

Tap the top right button and choose Grouping to set how tasks are grouped.

Choose how you want your tasks to be grouped and sorted.

Choose Grouping or Sorting to set up your queue.

Choose how you'd like your tasks to be grouped.

Sort tasks

Tap the top right button and choose Grouping to set how tasks are sorted.

Choose how you'd like your tasks to be sorted.
